The Omega Zeta Andorra Clinic has closed a sponsorship agreement with the MoraBanc Andorra Basketball Club. Gorka Aixàs, president of the BCA, and Nàdia Sopena, general director of the Clinic, have been responsible for signing this agreement in force until the 2023-2024 season. The highlight of this medical sponsorship agreement is based on the use, by BC MoraBanc Andorra players, of the different medical areas that the Omega Zeta Andorra Clinic offers them.
The services included are the most frequented by professional athletes and are part of their daily routine. In addition, the Clinic has selected the most suitable areas for all BCA players. These units are endocrinology, metabolism, and nutrition; specialized trauma to the foot and ankle; regenerative medicine; osteopathy and the possibility of clinical tests at the center.
In return, BC MoraBanc Andorra will wear the Omega Zeta brand on the bottom of the back of the first team training shirt and the brand will also be present, in advertising format, in matches played in the country.
Both entities are very satisfied with the agreement signed because it means providing the first team players with added values that aim to improve their sports performance and prevent injuries, among other factors. In the same vein, Aixàs wanted to emphasize that the agreement is very important as it comes at a time when, from the club, they wanted to take a step forward in the medical area. They will take advantage of the wide range of medical services that make them available and will be able to rely on the great professionals who are part of the Clinic.
For his part, Sopena commented that they are very happy to become the official medical partner of BC MoraBanc Andorra because it will be an opportunity to demonstrate the importance of less visible aspects, apart from training and physical preparation, in sports performance. and injury prevention in top athletes. For example, a good nutritional plan adapted to the personal needs of each player according to the objective parameters of clinical analysis, the appropriate supplementation recommended by an endocrine specialist in the sport or a good diagnosis and treatment by a Traumatologist specializing in foot and ankle of international reference are some of the benefits that players will enjoy in the 21-22 season.
